I never said you did...I was just saying that making our own clothing here is better in many ways than shipping overseas...
By: gretagiordano. on 04 Sep 09, 04:52:36
i never said i ship them over. nice try
By: lejasper9. on 03 Sep 09, 17:28:40
I agree with gretagiordano, is that buying vintage is recycling. That's all.

Your comment made me want to (being dramatic here) laugh and cry all at the same time. Firstly if you're concerned about global warming, what the heck are you doing complaining about clothing made in the U.S.? Importing from foreign countries is so costly in not just money, but the RESOURCES it takes to ship them here!!! Think about the oil it takes to get them here. We're already pretty much inslaved to foreign oil companies for our everyday car gas. The only thing

i bet you own something from seemingly activistic and humanitarian Gap from usatoday: NEW DELHI (AP) ? Indian children reportedly found making clothes for Gap Inc. should be reunited with their families and compensated by the government, The reported discovery of children as young as 10 sewing clothes for clothing retailer Gap Inc. in a New Delhi factory has renewed concerns about child labor in India,

dear buddy, you clearly haven't done any research. AA isnt the only ss-free stuff around. vintage betters the environment. there are no harmful chemical or dyes and the clothes are eco-friendly and organic, A lot of the clothing you find in chain stores today was made at overseas mass factories where the employees are not given Fair Trade Pay and working conditions are condemnable
By: mjnordine. on 25 Jun 09, 15:55:44
so you want to buy clothing that is made in sweatshops by people in poverty who are paid 5 cents an hour? really cool buddy.
By: gretagiordano. on 23 Jun 09, 02:03:20
so what?? things made abroad have so much better quality than things made here. besides your contributing to global warming. buying vintage is like recylcing and its much better quality anyway
By: ohshtalex. on 23 Jun 09, 01:30:07

wtf is the editing haha. When someone asks "can you say the question again?" you don't put that effing part in and show the part where they make the mistake. Assholes.

oh and AA always rips off from vintage finds anyway. a few months ago i was shopping at some of my favorite consignment stores in santa monica and i found a sick pair of slashed tights. i keep up with fashion and also contribute to it. i saw that LnA was selling a pair exactly like mine and then a few weeks later AA has a knock off. they have no creativity or originality. nevertheless i dont mind buying a T or 2
